I love when Tonks says that line. It’s a British greeting of course so it’s not like I can go around saying it without getting some odd looks. Especially since I don’t have a good British accent! (Though I do quote Madame Hooch fairly well with “Mount your brooms!”)
Anyways, I love Harry Potter and when the new movie was about to premiere I did a little trivia amongst my friends whom also like The Chosen One. Top prize went to Chip, a $5 Borders card and this bit of cleverness…
It’s Harry casting a Patronus, of course! And 2nd place went to Kelly, who got a bookmark. I made a fun tag for it…
Since the 6th book dealt with Harry being top of the class in potions, I thought it was an appropriate tag!
3rd place went to Jenna who got a yummy chocolate frog…and her wizard card was Madame Hooch- which is how I found out I did a good impression!

My near and dear friend Julie recently found out she passed a super-duper important test…and now she’s a licensed SE (structural engineer) in Illinois. She lives in Wisconsin so this is a great thing and will open up many more doors for her! Any maybe one day, move her a bit closer to me! Hint, hint…
So to celebrate, I made her this card… and she loved it Congrats again Julie! I am so happy forĀ you!

Well, that was an unwelcomed disruption in my blogging. Months ago my blog was hacked and then I had a beautiful baby boy, Elliot Joseph, on April 18th so I hadn’t had the time to blog even if I had wanted to! Having a baby really does change everything. Of course, it also gives me one more subject to scrapbook. Ha! And here is the little guy the day he was born…
The last few months I have been able to keep up with my Google Reader (of all the blogs I follow) and marked a gazillion ideas I want to try out so now it’s just a matter of finding the time to get creating.
I am very anxious for my first all-day crop on August 22nd. I haven’t hosted a crop since February, before Elliot came into this world. It feels good to be getting back into the motions of seeing my scrapbook friends and working on lots of fun, baby blue layouts! Here’s my little man at 3 months old!
